1. Huntington Beach 14-6: The Oilers, who won the National High School Invitational in North Carolina two weeks ago, stayed hot by beating Corona del Mar in two Surf League games. They play in Boras Classic South this week.

2. JSerra 10-7: The Lions did not play last week after losing to Huntington Beach in NHSI championship game. They are at home against Etiwanda on Tuesday in the first round of Boras Classic South.

3. Santa Margarita 14-3: The Trinity League-leading Eagles did not play last week. They open the Boras Classic South on Tuesday against Corona.

4. Mater Dei 12-5-1: The Monarchs, in second in the Trinity League, beat Ocean View in their only game last week. They play in the Boras Classic tournament this week.

5. Cypress 16-4: The Centurions won the National Classic championship for the second consecutive year. They outscored four opponents 20-5 during the tournament, and Luke Matlock was named tourney MVP.

6. Orange Lutheran 10-7-1: The Lancers did not play last week. They open the Boras Classic South against Maranatha on Tuesday at JSerra.

7. Servite 12-9: The Friars beat Villa Park in the National Classic, lost to Cypress 8-2 in the tournament final.

8. Villa Park 13-6: In the National Classic the Spartans beat Jordan of Utah in the first round before losing to Servite, Bishop Amat and Vista Murrieta.

9. Pacifica 16-2: The Mariners beat Crean Lutheran twice in Empire League games to extend their county-leading winning streak to 11 games.

10. Foothill 9-11: The Knights went 1-3 in the National Classic, and have lost six of their past seven games, but all of the losses were to good teams.
