Dainty jewelry, jewelry you can’t take off, jewelry you create yourself … those are among the possibilities at Caitlyn Minimalist, RG Jewelry and Gem Studio, respectively, all new at Irvine Spectrum Center.

Inspired by sun, sea and stacking, Caitlyn Minimalist offers affordable luxury via delicate pieces, most less than $30, such as the Engraved Tiny Name ring, Toi et Moi birthstone necklace and Sea-Kissed Sparkle pearl collection. Timepieces such as the Pave Blossom in emerald and vintage timepieces from fashion houses such as Fendi and YSL offer luxurious options.

Photographer Rachel Karcich founded RG Jewelry a little more than a decade ago, creating “simple yet timeless heirlooms … for the modern and eco-conscious” woman. Now trending in 14-karat gold: a two-tone satellite bracelet ($44) and diamond and blue-topaz hoop charm ($105). New Forever Jewelry includes no-clasp permanent bracelets welded directly onto your wrist.

Create your own rings, bracelets, earrings and pendants at Gem Studio. The two- to three-hour silversmith workshop – $95 plus gem of choice and optional add-ons, typically $150 – is ideal for birthdays, dates, friends’ nights or solo. Pricing depends on the design for less-expensive one- to two-hour charm workshops and 10- to 20-minute permanent jewelry workshops.
