The cross-country Sad Summer Festival, hosted by Journeys and Converse, has officially announced its lineup and tour dates, which includes a stop at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine on Saturday, July 29.
The festival, which was previously held just outside City National Grove of Anaheim, will include sets by Taking Back Sunday, The Maine, Pvris, Andrew McMahon, Hot Mulligan, Mom Jeans, Stand Atlantic, Daisy Grenade, Sincere Engineer and Cliffdriver.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at LiveNation.com. Citi cardmembers will have pre-sale access starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 through Thursday, Jan. 26 at www.citientertainment.com.
“We’re very excited to get back on the road,” John Nolan of Taking Back Sunday said in a recent press release. “It’s going to be great spending the summer playing shows with old friends and making new ones. Most of all, we can not wait to start playing these new songs for everyone!”
Last year, the festival featured pop-punk veterans Neck Deep, State Champs, Hot Mulligan, Against the Current, The Summer Set and more.
